[eBay] Selling My Nintendo Wii

I have been patiently waiting to buy a Wii for the past 6 months, ever since my birthday in December. I tried to buy one today. But they were sold out.

 

its amazing wiis are still so hard to find. Have you really tried to find one, i.e. go SUPER early to the stores? or are you just calling in and asking?

 

I got 2 in one day as seperate game stops. I talked to a manager and found out the day that was most likely for ups to come in with the wii. I went in the morning and waited for the ups guy to come in. As soon as he came in i bought it. Then i rushed over to the one down the street and bought another one. It really wasn't that hard at all.

 

I saw a bunch of Wii's at sams club a while back just sitting there waiting to be bought.

 

yeah, i got mine bfore x-mas but all i did was stay up all night drinking and then went to target about 1.5 hrs before they opened. Seemed simple enough.

 

I give up. I had might as well take up drinking.

 

any luck with the ebay one?

i would stick to circuit city, best buy, toyrs r us and especially target. They get the most. When dealing with gamestops, and such, there are so many stores that they onyl get a couple per store. I think a lot of these above stores get shipments in on sunday and are put out that day or monday...but i cant remember exactly.

 

Didn't know Wii's were still hard to find, I see them at my best buy stores all the time

 

The eBay one went above my budget. I keep going to the EB games on campus, but they're always sold out. Oh, well, I suppose that gives me more incentive to focus on my research instead of fun...

 

i would research on having fun

i think you need to expand your search to some of those stores i mentioned.

although, now is a good time to do work. The wave of good games (or what are suppose to be good) doesnt come for another month or 2.

Are you still interested in a Wii? I got mine a few months ago, but only got around to playing it for a few hours so its still in very new condition. I kinda need the money now so I will sell you mine if you want. Ive been hesitant to put it on Ebay cause I hate dealing with some of those people. Give me an IM on aim if you are interested and I can send you pics, etc if you want.

 

if you're having to call the store ahead of time so you can meet the UPS guy at the door...yeah, i guess that's not hard...but it's a little more effort than we generally go to in the market to purchase electronics!

 

I cant speak for other areas of the country, but I know back before we finally found ours...there were none to be found at any of the usual suspects....including Sams.

We got ours at Frys the morning they released them for sale, and by the time my wife got out the store with it, they were already sold out.

so yea...Wiis are still hard to find.

i had to wait on line for 90 minutes 2 days ago at Nintendo World to get one for my niece.

 

i rented red steel finally...so far not too impressed with the game as a whole but i only put 30 min into it.
