I think the Pacers are the better basketball team and have more talent.

Pacers in 6.

 

If the Pacers don't shrink from the occasion like they did last year against the Heat, they will win this series. If their heart fails them again, Knicks might advance.

 

The Knicks have the best player, more experience, HC advantage and the deeper team. I think they are the favorites.

Anyway, i hope this goes to 7 and i hope the Pacers win. Basketball needs a tough Pacers-Knicks 7 game series.

By the way, similarly to the old Ewing-Reggie battles, one of the teams will have one of the best shooters in the league (Melo) and the other will have a Georgetown center and an elite defense.

My body is ready for this.

 

I think the Pacers take it in 6. The Knicks rely on iso ball and 3 point shooting, both play into the hands of the Pacers defense, which is arguably the best in the league. The problem that the Pacers are going to have as they always have is scoring the ball. On paper it seems like a pretty good match up. I can see this going to 7 games too.

 

lol @ no one talking about this game, and everyone still talking about the "Mempis" - OKC game.

Pacers look good. The pace is just right where the Pacers like. (no pun intended.)

 

I think people know the East is just a formality. We need Chicago to win game 1 just to inject some interest. Maybe the ECF will be more exciting.

 

i was waiting to see how long till someone actually posts something about this game. it took till half time and even that was a "why is no one talking" post, hehe.

i think this will end up the best series of the 2nd round. a lot of history, great atmosphere and unpredictable.

well, the Bulls-Nets or the Knicks-Boston threads were pretty big, and this is the next round - fewer games.
I think it's more a case of Pacers=boring perception

Also: halftime show during a tight game and they talk abou why doesn't LeBron get more commercials. Really??!

 

Magic thinks Lebron doesn't have enough commercials; Blake and Paul have more commercials. I don't think that is true. Granted Magic is busy making money not watching tv so he probably missed them.

 

LeBron isn't the only player in the league. Magic is annoying.

And Hibbert's defense is so damn good.

Hibbert > Marc Gasol at defense.

 

Hibbert is better at protecting the paint. Marc is better at switching off onto guards and is more versatile.
