My vacation is Friday through Monday.

Friday, I will be laying out 10 palettes of Floretam carpet grass. If I have time and energy, I will also mark the yard for the fence posts. I will also be putting up five 2" shutter blinds. I did five of them last night.

Saturday, I will rent a power auger and drill out the post holes, and level and cement the posts to dry over Sunday. I pick up my son at 9:00 pm. Work is done until Monday.

Easter Sunday, 9:30 mass, then to my parents for an Easter egg hunt and barbque. My son goes back to his mom's at 3:00 and at 5:00, we have a barbque at Tara's relatives house. The rest of the night will be spent digesting.

Monday, level and nail in the 6'x8' picket planks to the cemented 4x4 fence posts.

    I'm already tired...

Well, since I can't go to Waco with RM95's Girl, I'm going to Tyler to see my sister and neices. As luck would have it, my parents are coming down from Chicago, so I get to see them too.

My father is flying is flying in from the Philippines to visit. He's the American Ambassador to the Asian Development Bank, so I have a bad feeling that he's going to want to talk politics all weekend.
I would prefer to go see "A Mighty Wind" and just chill out.

Maybe I will just put him in my home office and let him post on this website all weekend. I gave up politics for Lent.

    Going to Dallas.

Taking my new camera to the Arboretum.

Gave up alcohol for Lent....trying to decide if I really want to partake on Easter. I had hoped it would help me drop a few pounds, but it didn't.

    So predictable.

Trust me, she doesn't go for guys who don't have cajones to tell a lowly secretary that her gum smacking bothers them.

I'm bummed. Friday is my first day back to work after a 2 week vacation. I'm working days all weekend. At least Friday is considered a holiday (double time and a half pay).

Wife and kids are headed to Mom's house to join the family for Easter dinner. I can only hope someone brings me back some ravioli.

    .

If you are Roman Catholic, lent is officially over tonight at sundown...but the numbers don't add up to 40 days...It's 44 straight to today and 46 days to Saturday. Subtract the Sundays, in which you are not required to abstain from what you are giving up, and it adds up to 38 for today and 40 days for Saturday.

Kickass...my boss just left to go to Puerto Rico for the weekend, so I'm outta here in about 10 mins & then it's off to the Hill Country. My granddad's going home from the hospital in about an hour...cabrito & beer Saturday, yummy.

Hope everyone has a safe & happy weekend.

This is utterly inappropriate humor. I have always regarded your intelligence as being completely lacking, but to this point I had no idea your judgment was of a similar caliber. In case you did not know, over 80 people, all identifiable and thus "known", lost their lives during this siege. For you to make light of this situation with some misguided attempt at humor is despicable. It is typically beneath my dignity to respond to someone as completely vacuous and bitter as yourself, but this time just simply could not be overlooked.

    You disgust me.

    Jorge:

Sorry to interrupt this thread, but do we actually agree about the Waco siege? This is something I have in common with a lot of righties, so I'm just curious. I don't share your outrage at jokes about it, but I'm still furious at the ATF and the federal government about this terrible loss of life.

I love you too, Trader_Jorge, even though you are an utterly inappropriate excuse for a human being. Keep up the good work.
Every post you make on this BBS gives me a much greater level of respect for morons and blowhard idiots, not to mention that they make me laugh very heartily.

    Game over. You lose...again!:D

    I already broke Passover, hahahaha!!!

It was my new personal record for shortest time.

Like the Rockets, there's always next year.

The gefilte fish, or the "gef-i-LITE" as a friend once pronounced it (thinking it was a new low-fat seafood:rolleyes: :D ) was iiite.

And my "Easter plans" involve going to the local Walgreens the day after and engulf myself in .10 cent Creme Eggs.

    Gooooooood stuff.
