2nd time in one day that I've been beaten to the scoop. This is getting humiliating.

That would be awesome. One of our biggest holes right now is having a true point guard, though James and Sura are doing a solid job.

I saw this segment....let's get it correct. Bucher said Kidd would LIKE to go to Houston, not that Houston is his next stop. Bucher said he heard from some high ranking Houston officials that a lot of players want to come to Houston because they see Houston as an up incoming team. That's all Bucher said.

With that said, we dont have anything to trade for Kidd anyway. NJ is going to want more than our expiring contracts. They would call the Lakers about Odom before us. And we cant afford 3 max players in Kidd, Tmac and Yao.

But I like that Bucher said a lot of players see Houston as an up and coming team and want to come here. Of course we heard that last year as well. In the end, it is all about the all mighty dollar.

My concern is if Kidd and Bowen are on the court at the same time, They could just sag off and play Yao and Tmac lol....

Would still prefer a shooter like Allen or Redd, but hell Id be happy with Kidd. If he cnat feed into Yao nobody can

I think the thread starter missed the most important thing he said. It went like this -

    While discussing the NBA playoffs:

Analyst: "So where's Jason Kidd headed?"
Rich Bucher: "Well I know where he wants to go and that's Houston. Actually, that's where most guys want to go now that they think this is the up and coming team in the NBA."

We're not getting Jason Kidd. But the MLE will be attractive to FA's.

Duece, yeah. He didn't say "Houston is Jason Kidd's next stop." Just that he wants to come here. Big difference.

To those of you who feel Kidd would be an offensive liablitly, I think yall are dead wrong. Kidd would be great, his shooting has gotten better every year and he and T Mac on the break would generate 10 extra points a game. As long as he could effectively run the half court, Kidd on this team equals a championship.

I don't know what the CBA/union says, but I don't think there's any way the Rockets would take Kidd's contract. If he can tear it up and sign a sane one, they might do that. If not, I'm sure we can find other players who fit our style even better (i.e., can shoot the three).

I don't wanna worry about anything but game 5 right now...hopefully no one in the Rockets saw it either lol..don't need that on their minds.

Ill address this comment in due time...like after game 5

Just thought it was misleading jumping to conclusions that "Jason Kidd's next stop is Houston!!!" when all he said was that he'd like to come here.

We might as well close this thread and end the Jason Kidd discussions. How is this mathematically possible unless Jason decides to forfeit his contact and play for water and a bag of doritos?

We all know he makes max money but here is the exact breakdown.
