    Could be BS (NY Post), but kind of crazy to think about. Activision has been up for sale too. Kind of strange that the 2 biggest video game publishers are in that situation.

    (Cue talks about Take Two buying EA, therefore allowing for a return of the NFL 2K franchise)

    Take two should buy EA. Take out the competition or at least combine the best of both worlds, when it comes to the sports games.

    Think EA will have a word in this, the article didn't mention game developers as possible buyers. Don't think Take Two could every buy them, especially money-wise.

    I hope they get broken up into itty bitty pieces and sold piecemeal for the way they effed around when they were the big bad bully on the block. Serves them right for paying so much for the nfl license and sticking us with madden reruns every year.

    I hope take 2 doesn't buy them, as we saw with Madden- monopolies on sports games are terrible.

    Whoa. Really? Didn't he have the highest post count? What the hell does a guy like that do to get banned? Or is it only like a few month ban and not permanent?

    Anyway, I HOPE whoever buys EA Sports section hires new guys from top to bottom. Let the NFL license expire, and get competition for Madden, and also bring NBA Live back to the what it used to be. I had every Live since it first came out up until 2003 i believe b4 making the jump to 2K and ever since Live was a kids game to me.
