OK, I'm using TaxCut 2002 to e-file my taxes. It came with my computer last year, but I didn't use it last year. I got to the very end, but the program said that the e-filing date ended in October of 2003...No sh*t! How do I tell the program that these are the 2003 taxes that I'm doing, or do I have to buy the 2003 edition? I even updated to the latest version (Federal 7402), but it's still not working...

    Thanks!

I'm not 100% sure but I think you have to buy the update. If you already own the software you should be able to get it as an upgrade, instead of buying the whole software package. Check their website and see. You may also look at some online retailers and see if purchasing the 2003 version comes with a rebate for owners of previous versions. If it does run out and get a copy from somewhere.

You can't use the 2002 version to do the 2003 taxes. Rules and laws change so they have to have a different version every year.

    Upgrade.

Screw the software, just do it over the web.

    Hey codell,

What is the story about this bet with you and DearRock? It is not like DearRock ever posts (or probably even reads) in this forum. I want to know why he is a weasel.

Kind of a long story. I'll try and be brief as not to hijack this thread (cause I never hijack threads ;)):

Last season, we had a bet that the Rockets would finish ahead of the Spurs (he said they would, I said they wouldn't). I won.

So this season, he bet me double or nothing that the Rockets would finish Top 4 in the West (He said they would, I say they wouldn't). He lost again. I had given him a 15 game injury exemption for injuries to Eddie Griffin. He agreed that the 15 games would be for injury only, and not suspensions. He doesn't feel he should pay up on the bet since Eddie missed the whole season. I feel he should pay up since the exemption was for injuries only, and not suspensions.

If you would hire a woman, she could do it for you. She could also clean and cook and do your laundry. I also suggest getting the woman to do it for you Feb. 1 since employers are required by law to have your W2 to you by Jan. 31 and most use that time to hold on to it to make your life miserable, except the Army in which they hold it until mid February, then tell you they are no longer giving them out on paper and you have to check online, in which the online version says that the paper version has been sent, in which you throw up your hands and curse the day you walked into the Baybrook Mall recruiters station
