After salvaging a draw this past Wednesday in Dallas, the Dynamo return home after a three week road trip to face the Red Bulls. It seems like New York is either hit or miss, point in case being their 5-1 loss to Chicago last week. However, Juan Pablo Angel and Jozy Altidore, one of the most exciting young players in MLS today, can show up at any given time and provide headaches for defenses. The Dynamo could benefit from a strong showing this week, as 3 points would keep them in the hunt in the Western Conference. New York should be dangerous coming off the 5-1 beat-down.

Are you going? What do the Dynamo need to do to win this game in your opinion?

Aren't we gonna be without DeRosario and Onstad due to Canadian National Team call ups.

    Will be tough.

Thanks for remembering this, I neglected to put it in the introduction. Tony Caig will be in goal in place of Pat Onstad and Brian Mullan will get the start in place of De Rosario. The Canadian call-ups make this came a whole lot tougher.

    Final Score:
    Houston: 1
    New York: 0

A great game tonight, especially considering our absences on the field due to Canadian national team call-ups. The score line does not indicate how well we played, especially in the first half. The Dynamo were much more aggressive than the Red Bulls for the entirety of the match and our 3 points were well-deserved. Brian Ching was all over the field tonight, creating many opportunities and busting his head open the process.

And, as a result of Los Angeles losing 2-0 to Toronto FC today, the Dynamo are now tied with the Galaxy for first place in the Western Conference with 14 points.

I think I am reaching a point where I love the Dynamo almost as much as the Rockets. D Ro is a pimp and I think Ching is just an all out monster.

    3 points is always nice.

When these guys play their game they are tough to beat. I think missing 3 starters caused everybody to step up their game a bit, much like our run in the middle of last season when missing a lot of players for international duty.

DC hasn't played well all year and is very beatable right now, hopefully we won't take that game off like San Jose.

I think Ashe's biggest drawback is his confidence. When he plays with the reserves he seems a lot more willing to take chances and plays much better. The more time he gets with the full team the more comfortable he'll feel and the better he'll play.
