An absolute asskicking by the Dynamo tonight. I thought that Areana had worked his magic with the Red Bulls. It didn't show tonight. Stuart Holden was on fire. He had a beautiful goal after a nice layoff by Jaqua in his first appearance. Throw in a couple of assists and Holden is probable MLS player of the week.

Actually watched a bit of the game. I was bored after work, I'll admit. It was actually semi-entertaining though. We'll see , we'll see. No need to break out the conversion mats just yet :D

I caught the last 30 minutes. Great game, they dominated. I am hoping to go to a game by the end of the summer

That was a great game by the whole team, they pretty much dominated in every area of the field.

Stuie made the best of his chance to start, losing Davis doesn't seem so bad with guys like him that can step up and perform.

The trade for Ngwenya is looking better and better every game, he's already scored more goals for us than Moreno did all of last year.

Great game. The score could have easily been 5 or 6 nil. NY had one shot on goal that I could recall and that was well into the 2nd half. And that was with De Rosario not contributing much.

Holden was great. He impresses everytime he sees the field. What is his status as far as international eligibility? I know he was born in Scotland but raised here in Texas, but is he a US citizen and would he be eligible for the USMNT? I think he could help a lot, especially after the debacle in Copa America albeit with the "B" team. At least the U 20's are looking good and it will be interesting to see how they come out against Brazil tonight.

He got his US citizenship earlier this year and went to Japan with the U23 team. If he continues to get regular playing time and does well I could see him getting called into one of the January US camps and possibly making the Olympics team (assuming he's not too old by then).

Stu didnt go to japan. He got injured in the training camp in LA before they left.
He is in the player pool and should be in the mix for the olympic squad as he was in the mix for the u-20 wc in holland but wasn't chosen mainly because he was still waiting for his citizenship.

Thanks for the correction, I'd forgotten about that.
