The game starts at 6:30 CT and will only be shown on HDNet. It's gonna be a tough game playing on the road with De Rosario out.

Yes he does, but he doesn't get consistant minutes for them, at least not last season. He started their first game this season and came off the bench in the second and he'll probably make an apperance today also.

The main reason is that he's still young, he's only 16, and gets knocked around a lot because of his small size. DC United also has a few other players that he's fighting for minutes with, if he moved to another team that didn't have as many good attakcers he'd probably start regularly.

Right now he has talent but needs size and experience. Personally I think he would have been better off trying to get DC United to trade him in the offseason.

It's funny how so many of yall got all geeked up about the soccer team and now nobody really cares.

Look I am sure atendance wise this team will do well and there will defenatly be a hard core group that supports the team through thick and thin. I know I will follow them because I support Houston but this will always be a minor sport in this country just like Hockey and anything else that's not the NFL, NBA or MLB.

OK Nascar, golf and tennis majors are also big time.

The game wasn't on regular cable or tv...that is why there haven't been more responses to this thread. I didn't get to go out and watch the game. It's also Easter weekend and the Rox are stinking it up so visitors to the site probably isn't as high as usual. To say that enthusiam for the team is gone just b/c of one thread with small replies is overreacting.

The World Cup is starting in about 2 months, and Barca is coming to H-town, interest in soccer will only grow!

This is the perfect year for soccer to come to H-Town I will agree with you on that point.
