    Dynamo @ New England
    6:30 p.m. Central
TV: Fox Soccer Channel, Fox Sports Espanol
    Radio: 790 AM

The Dynamo open their third season and their quest for a three-peat against New England tonight. They are coming off a first round defeat of CSD Municipal (Guatemala) in the CONCACAF Champion's Cup. Brian Ching is coming off a 60 minute stint against Poland in the United States' 3-0 win in Krakow. Dwayne DeRosario is also coming back from international duty after playing in Canada's 2-0 defeat against Estonia.

Ricardo Clark is still left with 2 games on his 9 game suspension for kicking Carlos Ruiz (formerly of FC Dallas). Brad Davis and Brian Mullan are nursing injuries and it's unclear whether they will start.

Ugly game. The Orange better not show up in this kind of form against Saprissa this week. Or next Sunday against Dallas (if only because I'm going to that one).

We looked kind of bad. I'll accept this loss if we can beat Saprissa I think its time for MLS to start earning some respect on the international stage.

Yeah. All MLS games are broadcast on television in some way these days. Tonight was Fox Soccer Channel, but they also air on HDNet, Univision, ESPN, and sometimes Channel 55 locally for the Dynamo.

The Dynamo have been doing a lot to change that, which is good. Although 6-1 losses to J-League teams does not help, our duels last year against Pachuca in both the CONCACAF tournament and Superliga created a genuine rivalry amongst both teams. We were two PK goals and a terrible Joseph Ngwenya PK from beating them in both tournaments. And as bad as they may be, Los Angeles Galaxy have a HUGE international presence now due to Beckham. Chicago does as well with Blanco. The MLS is on the rise, which is good for all concerned.

A very ugly game for the Dynamo early. The back line was terrible against Mansally. When they finally moved Holden to central midfield the offensive attack picked up, but it was not enough. The Revs converted their goal scoring chances and thanks in part to an unbelievable save by Reis the Dynamo did not. Man I thought that D-Ro free kick was in the back of the net right at the end of the first half, but he just missed. The Dynamo also missed Ricardo Clark or Brad Davis. Davis would have been more effective than Ash but he was out with an injury. Get 'em next time.

I was surprised they didnt start in a 3-5-2 because Mullan was terrible at RB. He has a good work rate just like Chris Klein with LAG but they are not defenders. I think it was just one of those games, nothing went right and the Galaxy had the same thing happen yesterday.

That game really sucked. But we've got bigger things to worry about this Wednesday, hopefully the loss will be a good reality check for them.
