I like what little I've seen of him - isn't he a bit redundant with Rico Clark, though, and aren't they both too good to sit?
Yeah, it's going to be interesting to see how he fits into the lineup. If I had to choose one I'd pick Rico, but I've heard rumors Mulroony will be playing right back with Waibel playing in the middle. I guess we'll see soon enough.
It's a solid move. If Clark is playing Gold Cup and Copa this summer, Mulrooney fits in perfectly at the defensive mid. It also allows them to move DeRo up front if need be. He can play right back and distributes well from there. This is one of those moves that puts them right back in the final. This team doesn't need to use the big allocation. It's full of very good players with great chemistry.
