I think if we needed to score on 1 possession I'd pick Hakeem over Dwight.

I think Hakeem is good for 10 minutes a game. And I think he can hold his own during that stretch.

He would be in so much pain after 10 minutes in an NBA game. He's 50. I don't think you understand why people retire when they get older.

These shots of Hakeem and McHale remind me of a very important principle of post-up basketball. That is what you do with the basketball in your hands, how you move up. Notice in the pic that Hakeem is posting up with the ball up high. Bringing the ball down to Hakeem meant bringing down to neck level at most and turning and shooting. If he put the ball down lower, it was because he was pounding it hard off the wood with a bounce dribble during his move. No lackadaisical posting up with the ball at waist level where the guards can gauge it and swipe it away. Constant motion with the ball up high, occasionally dipping to the neckline area but even then not in a straight down motion but more of a circling motion so that if someone did swipe at it, they most likely catch the forearms and get whistled. Hands and arms and the movement of the basketball plays a huge role in the success of a post-up player.

How about 10 minutes of Yao a game for vet's minimum?

I remember that. Simply put, he is great and could compete with most people. But he is too slow for the game at the highest level at this point in his life.

Why is Judge Reinhold not in these pictures? Is he the one holding the camera?
