    25 pts, 15 reb, 9 blk, 3 ast halfway through the 3rd.

Howard has clearly usurped Yao in the list of best Cs. Only a crazy homer would say otherwise at this point.

i pretty much agree with you, but i hope yao has a monster monster game tonight (doesnt he play pretty well against shaq) just because you said that and im agreeing with you about it.

Howard is miles ahead of Yao now. It's somewhat a surprise that Yao has rapidly gone down the hill. Hopefully it's just a temporary thing.

Yao is a better FT shooter and low post player. Howard now owns Yao in every other category.

If Howard every develops a legit low post game, forget about it...

Is it really that much a surprise for a 7'6 guy with foot problems to regress relatively early?

Ill bring it up AGAIN. Dwight Howard like many other overrated centers pads his stats against inferior competition. When Yao Ming or the Detroit Pistons come to town he struggles and gets outplayed. David Robinson used to do the same thing. Tear up the weak opposition and then play decent against the great centers. Like when Robinson dropped 70+ on the Clippers. Rony Seikley did the same thing in Orlando too. Kaman does it. etc

Just got his 10th block. He's gonna put up 30/20/10 probably.

Yao didn't/couldn't pad his stats against OKC.

Impressive even despite it being against the fricken Thunder. Who is guarding him...that swamp thing looking kid, Robert Swift?

Hey, at least Rashard Lewis and his $20M a year has 11 pts and 3 rebounds.

You're looking backwards. I'm looking at now and going forward.

I was well aware of those stats and posted them once myself.

Meanwhile, Howard is one rebound away from 30/20/10.

Lets see what happens head to head this year. Same thing that happened to Howard in the playoffs vs Detroit. He disappears.

I'm not really sure what that matters if he's constantly owning the 25 or 26 teams that don't provide touch match ups at center. You don't have to be the most skilled center, or be able to take down every opponent head to head in order to be the best at your position (ex. Deron Williams usually outplays Chris Paul head to head).

Yao has a tendency to disappear against certain teams too. Front him with quick helpers and he's pretty much neutralized.

Howard just isn't that good. Neither is Yao. Nobody is playing at an elite level. Right now Tim Duncan is probably playing the best in the league due to the injuries.

I'm so tired of this Dwight vs Yao talk... Its so obvious that Dwight is better than Yao.

But they are so different there is no point in comparing them. You can't compare anyone to Yao except Shawn Bradley and Gheorge Mursean or any other 7'5 guy.

Heavy knees and lumber come with the added 7 inches.
