[rQUOTEr]Nets have emerged as No. 1 choice for Dwight Howard, multiple sources say. D12 is expected to ask Magic to trade him to NJ.

Nets still pursuing Nene in case deal for Howard falls through. NJ offering Brook Lopez & 2 1st rnd picks, as @ESPNSteinLine wrote last wk[/rQUOTEr]

I always felt that he would end up in NJ with D-Will. As long as he doesn't land in LA I'm glad.

Lets get involved in this trade as well and then the owners block it and Howard and Paul say f it and say they want to play in Houston. Darryl Morey's plan the whole time.

If this happens they should let the Paul trade go through. I don't have a problem with Paul/Kobe, only if Dwight forced his way there would it be an issue IMO.

Stern can't do anything about it because the NBA owns neither team. People need to understand this...

Stern has the ability to block it if it dangers the best interest of the league in general or something like that.

    This x100000000

The only reason the Paul trade was blocked was because of a conflict of interests. How are you going to have an NBA owned team trade a top 3 point guard to the biggest market team and still allowing them to save millions in cap space? It just doesn't look right because it just reinforces what everyone around the league already suspects and that is that Stern only supports big market teams.

This is Chris Broussard we're talking about..

But does this make Brook Lopez expendable?

    Get'er done, Morey.

Why do NBA players hate Houston so much? I don't ****ing understand it one bit.

No state tax, huge basketball city, storied franchise, good front office, nice role players to surround a star with, lots of hip hop, a pretty nice downtown.

From what I understand, Stern has the right to cancel any trade.

This. And Houston's downtown really blows. It's a ghost town. I say let's wait for Blake Griffin to become a free agent. :p
