http://www.nbcolympics.com/basketball/photos/galleryid=183372.html Who's jersey sells better in china?
This has been discussed many times before, but here we go again: 1. Many, many people already have Yao's jersey. They don't need multiple. 2. On top of that, many people have fake counterfeit jerseys that aren't factored into sales
I hate when people make fun of people who make typo's and misspell words as if it's a sign of intelligence. I'm sure people know the proper way to use who's/whose and its/it's. Maybe that isn't what you were doing but some people do.
Consider this question: If Yao never existed in this world, would there be nearly as many people buying the Iverson, Kobe, Dwight jerseys in China? Yao's impact on the NBA's marketing in China goes far beyond his own jersey sales.
Don't you mean typos? j/k I do sometimes poke fun at people when they mistype or misspell a word, but as more of a roasting sort of thing that you might do with a friend. I don't actually intend to diminish their intelligence. I'm sure I mistype things quite often myself, but I wouldn't want anyone to think less of me for it. If I've offended anyone, I apologize.
Yeeeeeeah....no. I'd estimate that roughly 75% of the internet population does not know the proper way.
I guess that means Yao really sucks, then? In LA, Gasol jerseys probably outsold Kobe jerseys in the first month following that trade. That would mean Kobe sucks, also, right?
Apologize? Bite your tongue. (Or bite you're tongue, I suppose.) Here's the way I look at it: If someone makes a great point and screws up grammar and/or spelling, fine. Because at least they're thinking. That doesn't seem to be the case here, where the OP was just trying to get under the skin of the Chinese members of ClutchFans and did it not only using an OLD, lame, already-proven-wrong-a-millions-times argument, but threw in a grammar screwup on top of it. Evdiently, he thought this was really surprising news and that Yao's Chinese fans here would be totally deflated when they heard it.
T-mac's number 3!!! or would it be t-macs number 3, no because t-mac owns the number 3 spot, yea i was right the first time.
The people who haven't taken 4th grade english grammar? The people who aren't born in an english speaking country? I mess up all the time and i was great in english. <s> I'm sure there are quite a few people like me.</s> I'm sure most people are like me. Do you always proofread your posts?
Of course. And I think about what I'm going to say before I open my big trap in real life, too. I like your outlook though, very rainbows and candy canes. If you haven't been to myspace yet...don't. It will shatter your fantasy vision of the internet.
tact - a keen sense of what to do or say in order to maintain good relations with others or avoid offense
I'm sorry, a quick web search of tact yielded no results...I'm not sure if it exists on the internet. See: D&D, Clutchfans
