Probably one of the most consistent players of these playoffs for the rockets.

True but I think I'll go with T-Riz.
Ariza was just everything out there in the playoffs.

Ariza was the most consistent on both ends

What, most consistent at missing free throws and easy shots at the rim?

Let's ignore all the FTs he missed, and the lack of boxing out, and making solid basketball plays.

How can you be in the league for 11 years and not get better at posting up.

Dwight will continue to decline - his days as a dominant player are done, sure he can get numbers, but he is not a leader.

If he would accept a tertiary role like David Robinson did maybe, but for now, no!

NO MORE POST UPS for a guy that is HORRIBLE at posting up.

Yup for the 2nd year in a row. Ariza didn't get it goin to really the clips series when we were down. Harden was harden. Great moments. Many not so great

    Consistency doesn't necessarily mean MVP.

Dwight definitely the most consistent, but looking at the momentswhich got us to the WCF, it really was a team effort. Different players stepped up at certain points.

    Smith-to-Dwight connection vs. Dallas.
Smith/Brewer/Terry in game 6 vs LAC (probably the most important of all).
    Prigs very important steals.
Harden willing us to avoid the GSW sweep.

You can really pluck out certain points and argue for many of our players. You know that at the end of the day, if we win the title next year, Harden will get Finals MVP regardless.

u make a good point but, he kept us the series and did what he could. He has realized that he can't be the 1 option, but he fulfilled his roll and showed up in big games.

It's a lot easier to be consistent on defense then offense TBH...

    He did not.

    He gave lip service.

He did not play hard on defense, when Curry is boxing him out.

He did not move his feet or his body - he jumped, but watch him, he did not GO get those rebounds.

Dwight could do more, but he is lazy, he is just not a winner, he needs a coach like SVG to push him, because he doesn't have the mental fortitude to give it his all.

He is desperate for attention and wants to be liked yet, fails to go all out, and blames others for his own failures.

The entire team needs a leader, because Howard and Harden suck at it.

Howard and Ariza are co-MVPs of this playoffs run in the heart department.

They each have their limitations, but played their guts out in every game.

Not only this but the guy has no offensive game what so ever. Its like he's a scrub on offense. We really missed Dmo

Ariza then neck and neck Harden/Howard
I like Dwight getting his without tons of post ups.

He was elite on rebounds, blocks, and altering shots, but don't count on him to give you the offense, still have to have another star to win

Dwight was hands down the best Rockets player all post-season. DD and the rest of you taking a dump on him need to watch more basketball. He single-handedly covered up mistakes for every turnstile perimeter defender on this team. You guys won't know what you're taking for granted until he's gone.
