got a DWI this weekend, wasn't drunk though, had a couple of beers and 2 mix shots, ate some food then drove home, on the way home started falling asleep so I got pulled over, Gave me a sobriety test and I didn't do bad on it but still took me to jail and charge me (those tests are pretty hard even if youre not drunk) went to jail, refused the breathelize test. What do you guys think? What are my chances of getting it dismissed?
Dude, are you serious? Cuz your threads and username seems to be like an ongoing, yet tragic, joke. If they didn't give you a blood test, you have a decent chance of contesting it. Money out of state hands and into your lawyers...
how much do you weigh? and over what time period was this? you might have actually been over the limit..
I haven't posted for about a week or 2 now, been so busy here at work and been getting my stuff straight, thursday night, after work I went to class, after class we went to Sherlocks with everyone at work since my coworker got layed off... then on the way home... bam.....

...and...here...we...go... i don't condone drinking and driving, but i'm not gonna sit here and act like i'm a saint. i've had my share of driving while having a bit too much just been lucky that i've never been caught.
Hmm, all I can really say is, GOOD LUCK! Never been in a situation like that before, but then again, I'm underage to drink.
For most people, 2 beers and 2 mixed shots probably won't even get you buzzed. Anyway, I'm not in Houston but I'm sure some of these guys can give you the name of a good DUI/DWI lawyer that specialize in this stuff. Since it's your first time you'll probably get it knocked down to a DUI, pay a fine, and do some community service in addition to mandatory AA classes.
I really wasn't drunk at all, I ate before I went home, I was just really exhausted that day from work and school.. and alot of fun chatting it up with the co workers, that was about it...
I know I told the cop that I had a couple of drinks with my coworkers cause one just got laid off... he gave me the test, I didnt rock or fall or anything, the test I did bad on was the light test... he told me to follow the light which my head moved the first time he did it lol then i did it again fine... iono pretty gay when youre tired and not drunk
