For all of you guys out there that was bashing on me big time... I just got out of court today after going through this case for about a month and a half.. It got dismissed without even going to trial... I seriously was not drunk and was just sleepy which I should be charged for wreckless driving... I feel so relieved.. Thank you to everyone that gave me some advice and everyone else, thank you very little The DA went into the room, watch the video of the arrest.. came back out and these were his exacts words when my lawyer asked him "so what you think, can we reduce it to a wreckless driving??" DA: im going to dismiss this case, "THIS GUY WAS NO WHERE NEAR INTOXICATED FROM WHAT THE VIDEO SHOWS" WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT I did learn one thing from this though... don't drink and drive period.. even if youre not intoxicated.. trust me I am not going to drink and drive again. Thanks guys.
Congrats, man. I was 100% for you exerting your right to trial based on the facts you gave. I'm very glad you were vindicated.
Reckless. And hopefully, wreck-less as well. Grats on the dismissal. Glad the ADA did the right thing.
Congrats for skating. However I must say . . this is one of those times where 'discretion' shows its ugly head The next guy . . who doesn't look like you . . didn't act well with the cop or something . . . just the DA has a bad day . .. . BOOM he gets the book would he be any more guilty or less guilty than you? Doesn't matter. . . luck of the draw. He is a statistic with a record . . .you chilling without a record. This is where Bias can come into play . . . and often does. Once again. . . congrats. . . you fought the Law .. . AND WON!! Big Ups! Rocket River
Can't afford car payments? Car gets totaled by being stuck in a ditch filled with water. Get DWI, have case dismissed.
THanks alot guys, I am really happy today and I didnt get away with one.. the court got one right today haha no more drinking and driving for now on though seriously.. lesson is learned
you're being bashed for this very reason. you weren't "drunk" but you just admit to drinking and driving? The courts got it wrong.
