I Just got a new DVD burner, but it didn't come with any software. Do you guys know if there is any good free DVD burning software that I could download off the Internet? Thanks!
I suggest dvdshrink as well. Though i have only used it along with nero. http://www.dvdshrink.org/where.html
DVD Decrypter ( http://www.dvddecrypter.com/ ) is also a must have. It will work hand in hand with DVDShrink
I have never really understood the need for that program but I honestly havent really done enough looking into it. I have read that it helps reduce the wear on your burner during ripping but thats about all. Am i missing someting?
I use DVD Decryptor to quickly rip the DVD to my harddrive, and use DVD shrink later to burn when I have the time. On my PC, DVD shrink can take up to an hour to complete encoding and burning. Sometimes its easier to rip it and burn later.
DVD shrink isnt a burning program, its simply a ripping/decoding program. DVD Decryptor does both, but doesnt decode to a smaller 4.7 gig rip. Decryptor is great burning iso files. DVD shrink piggybacks from other burning software to burn, such as Nero. Nero ultra is great burning software as oppose to Roxio's.
