Q of the Day as posed originally to my roommate: Would you accept a position as a butler for a wealthy English Family for 250 grand a year? 50 hours a week, 7am-5pm w/ living quarters provided. Basically the 250 g's would be all yours minus taxes. It goes without saying you would be treated as second class and always reminded you are the butler. My roommate said he'd do it for about 5-10 years, then bail to retirement. UNGUS would rather shave his face with some mace in the dark than acquiesce to some rich prick's desires. Ummm.... you are really overestimating Butler salaries. Butlers do all that, especially that which you complained about, for about fifty a year. And that is for a really rich dude. Normal English butlers go for around thirty a year. American one vary more but about forty a year with expenses.
