I know this video was from a while ago, but Jalen Rose predicted that when Durant becomes a free agent, Houston will be the destination. I mean this would be amazing for us and make us definite title favorites, but what are y'alls thoughts on the possibility? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7-_K3gWqaBk
Jalen Rose is the truth, he gives the people what they want! Definite possibility. Now, back off to LaLa land
In order for this to happen we need two things to happen: 1-Thunder don't win a chip within then. 2-Morey gets it done cap-wise. I think we would be his first option because Harden is his bestie.
He isn't coming here if we do not have the pieces to get him a championship. Just because we have Harden Howard and Durant does not mean instant championship.

yah no offense but thats exactly what it means. You will have a better younger version miamis big 3. Durant=Lebron, Harden > wade , Howard > Bosh But more than just having a better big 3 by individual talent. They fit better too. As durant can space the floor..howard is an actual center not a hybrid and harden can handle the ball and attack the rim. so basically you could put bev/canaan and jones out there and have the best team in the league regardless of the bench. One superstar would be on the flor at all times
Id KD really wants to leave, I guess it would be possible that the Rocket could land him. But you got to believe that OKC will move heaven and earth to keep KD.
Would Howard really be better than Bosh by the time KD would be available? I agree that Dwight is better right now but there is no denying that, while being the best center in the league, Dwight is starting to decline. It's a slow decline but players who rely so much on their athleticism usually decline at a faster rate, production wise, when they are around the age that they start losing some bounce. Howard may not be that old but he has a lot of basketball under his belt with back injuries as well. Unless he can really solidify his post moves and/or add a "Duncan like" 15 foot jump shot, I worry about how long he can last playing at such a high level as he has been this season. 2016 is a long way from now and who knows how well Dwight plays by then, or this team overall. Just too far away for there too be anything other than hope that KD would come to Houston if the chance is there.
I seriously, honestly can't stand watching Durant. That said...I would be ecstatic if he chose to team up with Harden in Houston. How much longer is his contract in OKC? How old will Dwight be when his contract is over? If I remember, his contract is too long and our window with Dwight won't last that long. Then we would need to pursure someone else in the meantime, which would eliminate our capspace to chase Durant then?
Everyone is saying for this to be a possibility, it would require Durant to have not won a championship in OKC before his contract ends? Just wondering- would Harden/Durant/Howard really be that much better than Westbrook/Durant/Ibaka?
