Today Duran Duran dropped the physical release of "All You Need Is Now". I had to ask myself what freaking year this was again! WOW! It sounds like their earlier stuff. <iframe title="YouTube video player" width="640" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/8h3diMB28Fs" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> <iframe title="YouTube video player" width="640" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/i6BLr2TGofw" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/All_You_Need_is_Now
Probably a smart move staying out of the video and not showing how old they are, but I liked both. I saw them play at the Houston rodeo several years ago and at Verizon Theater. Both times they were very good.
Not a huge fan of Duran Duran during the 80's...but have grown to really like them over time. And I really like those two songs you posted. Sounds a ton like their old stuff. I like it alot!
Liked it a lot more than their last album. A lot of classic Duran Duran sound on this album. They are streaming a live concert on Youtube tomorrow, part of the Unstaged series. It'll be directed by David Lynch. <object width="640" height="390"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/JmG_Ru_hqDY?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/JmG_Ru_hqDY?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="390"></embed></object>
Those aren't official videos. <object width="640" height="390"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/VvqnJ8AGhFg?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/VvqnJ8AGhFg?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="390"></embed></object> He produced the last one, which was their worst or 2nd worst album.
You are correct. I found it. In an interview with LeBon in the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly (required bathroom reading) it says Timberlake sings and produces on 2007's Red Carpet Massacre. I had glossed over the article and didn't realize they were talking about the LAST cd.
THAT sound is making a comeback right now so why not let the kings get a little piece of the pie? /Cro Cop not impressed
Totally disappointing. Sounds exactly like they are rehashing their old songs/beats but worst. But what's good is that they seem to still have their voice. Their The Wedding Album was great. They should have went with that same approach with a slower songs.
Wow that sounded terrible. Sound like a totally water down mixture of Rio, Save A Prayer and New Moon on Monday.
