http://www.sportsline.com/nba/dunk-o-meter?&start_row=1 Who says Yao cant or do not dunk enough? According to the dun-o-meter, Yao Ming have the 7th most dunk shots in the NBA for this season. Its still a wopping 82 dunks behind that freak Dwight Howard. Interesting find, NJ have 3 players with more dunks to Vince Carter. Bonzi only have 3 more dunks compare to Tmac(even thou Tmac miss so many games). Chuck Hayes have TWO dunk shots.
breaking news: Landry has 11 and Scola has 0. Our 3 power puffs combine for 13 dunks with 11 form Landry. WTF!
Wow, Amare and Marion are 2 and 3, that stat is crazy to me. Now that shows a team that can get some easy buckets.
Can someone tell me why Scola is not dunking the ball? This dude is 6'9. I am so disappointed about this dude when he catches the ball for one dribble and still doesnt power up to dunk the ball and misses a soft ass layup. What's wrong with him? He could dunk before.
I can only recall one "dunk" from Hayes. It's a few games back in a pick and roll and Hayes ran 2 steps with a 2 hands lay-in. I cant recall the other "dunk". It's probably some kind of 2 hands tip-in.
it's just freaking wrong when Stromile Swift has 29 dunks and that's more than our 3 power puffs combine. Just imagine without Landry, our 2 power puffs Hayes and Scola combine for 2 dunks.
When youngsters like Bynum, Chandler and scrub like Salembert have more dunk than you, you are sure have not dunk enough in the game.
Chuck Hayes should learn to dunk cuz he miss a lot of free lay-ups. Scola too should dunk. Look what a dunk can do for your team: - More energy for you and your team - Move the crowd (Own crowd) -More chance of making it then a lay-up - Harder for a defender to stop it. More chance of a and 1 or foul call - Scare the defender. Next time, he wont go hard on you cuz he know if he goes hard, he will make a foul. So a dunk is important. Scola should do more and also, Hayes. If they can do it.
I don't care that Scola can't dunk but it does drive me insane that he can't even finish a layup unless he is wide open. I suspect he is still adapting the NBA and the athleticism but come on, Scolajuwon.
If u care for wins, that u should care if the Rockets dunk or not. Dunk is a ~90% shot. Layup is ~65% shot. Big difference.
