If you read the post in the Rockets News forum you will be surprised to read that Francis might not enter the dunk contest! It would be crazy not to enter it in his hometown! I was getting excited to see everyone at the MCI Center cheering for Steve. ------------------
cson, What do you mean? We get to see his ego if he does not enter the contest or we get to see his ego if he does enter the contest? By not entering it would seem to me that he has no ego and is not intersted in all of the praise and attention that he would definetly get. By entering, sure it can be an ego boost. What's wrong woth that? It's and official competition. It's not during a game. If anything it would probably get the Rockets a few more spots on national TV next year. I'm waiting for the rest of America to get off Jason Williams jock and realize that Steve is way more worthy of the praise that is given to Jason. ------------------

Except Stackhouse...he's been in it the last 3 or 4 years. It's usually only the winners that don't come back. But, I guess Steve not being in it is for the better of the team...with his ankle and all. You would think that he would sit out the rookie game instead of the dunking, a full game would wear out an ankle more than a few dunks.
