There are a lot of social pressures against these things in Japan we don’t have here in the US. I’m not saying it’s good but they’re also the longest lived people (diet is also a factor here).

There comic books are better and more popular now since woke trash is not part of their culture

They are putting out quality anime that far surpasses anything Disney can do ,... it's been a great summer anime season with liar liar, masamune kun revenge S2, dreaming boy is a realist, Zom 100, etc - I have a friend from Japan thru an online game - she was showing me pics of her country in the city - it's freaking clean - they just have a different culture, dare I say a better one tbh

I don't like manga because the books are always printed reversed.

Japan's culture is extremely rigid and hierarchical. It sounds like a wet dream to the basement dwelling western men who overly romanticize the 'trad life', but then they get over there and realize it's not all it's cracked up to be (especially if you're a loser like them) and they get flushed out hard.

At my job, dealing with Japan is a pain in the ass. So much nit-picking and formalities to deal with... everything has to be explained down to the atomic level. It's pure hell to anyone who needs to be creative or agile in their work.

    Agreed.
Everyone wants more constraints . . . until It comes to things THEY LIKE

Most of them don't realize how hard it would be on THEM until they are their
Many people want to join something for the perks. . . but don't want the responsibilities or any compromise on their part
