Well that hurts the strength of the 2012 draft.

He has plenty of time to change his mind, and no one will be surprised when (not if) he does.

“As of right now, I know I’ll be back,”

    Yeah right.

The draft is still strong without or without Andre Drummond. He wasn't even suppose to be in this draft remember? He was suppose to be apart of next years class.

Of course he's going to say that now. Most potential draftees say the right thing about coming back to school. If he has the chance to go in the top 3 then there is NO WAY he passes that up.

Guys like Harrison Barnes, and Perry Jones made a wise decision this year by not going in the draft, but that was only because of the lockout, and there would have been a large risk of missing your rookie season.

Whether Drummond enters the draft is basically irrelevant to the Rockets... even if we wind up in the lottery, we won't be high enough in the lottery to draft him.

Would have been nice for him to be there to push another guy down. But him not being in may encourage another prospect to stay in or declare early.
