So I was drug tested today, I found out that the urine sample would be tested for mar1juana. I'm clean, but I've heard stories about clean urine coming up positive. Is there anything that would make it come up as positive?
Plenty of things, some in your control and some not, can cause a false positive. Just Google it for more info. Most labs send ANY positive sample off for further testing and verification. This will show definitive results.
I'll try doing some further research, most of the stuff on google was about trying to mask the traces of it.
I've never had an issue with a "bad test". I always make sure it has been 30 days and i've drank a lot of water before going to a drug test....not that I've had worry about it....
a person who is clean would not be asking this question...unless they are not giving us the straight scoop. a person would assume he has zero problem with the test if they were clean. care to give us the rest of what you are not telling us? guess not.
Dude, after 4 years working psych and addictions, and two years of nursing school, I've seen MANY false-positives from initial screens. It happens quite a bit.
sadly. I knew a guy that "smoked" for over a year before he learned that he should inhale the smoke...he had been puffing it like a cigar. True story
If you've eaten anything with poppy seeds in it (like a burger at Miller's), you'll test positive for opiates big time.
