^ Houston has a punk scene and even an Irish Punk band, The Blaggards, so I'm guessing there is enough of a following to get the Dropkick Murphys there.
Dropkick Murphys have been dogged throughout their career as being a band with alot of skinhead followers. I think the DKM said they are themselves skinheads, but not the racist skinhead type. (I don't really know what the actual difference is, but thought it was interesting they made a point of noting that).
^ That must explain why they have a song called "Skinhead on the MBTA" I have a hard time thinking they're white supremists although there were very few nonwhites at the show but then again they were playing suburban Minnesota.
