You know... Vodka with Clamato juice, worcestershire sauce and tabasco in a glass rimmed with lime and celery/seasoned salt. I recently started drinking these and am loving them. I'm wondering why I haven't tried one before because I have always loved Clamato. I also read that they aren't well known in the US. Is this true? Hail Caesar!
Is clamato really clam juice? I've always been afraid of it just because of the name, I've never tried it.
Clamato...makes me weary just cause the name sounds like The Clap... Never tried one, maybe I should give The Clap a shot
I've never had it, but I'm pretty sure it's a blend of Tomato and clam juices... OK, after a quick look it appears to be a "seafood blend"... http://www.clamato.com/corporate_ing.htm Mott“s Clamato was invented in 1969 in California by the Duffy Mott Company. This spicy new drink created an entire new category in blended juices called Seafood Blends. Clamato was acquired by Cadbury Beverages in 1982 as part of the purchase of Duffy-Mott, and since that time has posted impressive volume gains annually behind solid advertising and promotion programs to more than double its volume. The brand is the undisputed market leader in the Seafood Blend category, with leading share in every region.
