cool mix i think there should have been more of his portland days when he was at his best since it seems most of the mix is of his houston days. one thing about clyde though ever since he started losing his hair (what like in 88?) his face looked that of an old man to me (or older) and i could never get it out of my mind how a man that looks old could do all that stuff with the rock.

I still have the skybox and z-force cards they show in the begining.

also i like that the guy who made the mix found the clip of clyde ridiculous finger-roll against the rockets (towards the end of the clip) where he just flips it up from near free throw line. I saw that on tv as a kid and was amazed but never was able to see it again till now

Nice video on an underappreciated player. He was basically Jordan Lite in terms of offense and defense.

Makes me want to dig up my Louisville vs. Houston NCAA game and watch that legendary dunkfest.

Although maybe a jazzier, more laid back tune would have complimented the clip better. I don't think Drexler and Tupac's persona are even in the same ballpark..

Clyde Drexler = The Real Deal!!!!

 

There is no doubt in my mind that none of the guards today could guard Drexler or Jordan in their prime. One thing that they had besides great minds and athleticism is that they were soooo strong. Big guards with that type of quickness and strength is unreal. Lebron is the only other guard that comes to mind that can be that strong and quick. He hasn't developed any post game like clyde or jordan though so we'll have to see if he can add that to his game.

 

This video shows exactly why they called him the Glide. Awesome video.

Yeah, you just have to "right-click" and "save-as" when you get to the download page. The only things is that the link by be kaput by now. Yousendit.com only allows 25 hits per upload. But you might still find this video in your Temporary internet files folder.
