Who would you prefer to have on the TV broadcast team? Each one has their broadcasting issues and both talk about their basketball past.

I think that I would lean toward Murphy. I am getting tired of hearing the same stick from Drexler...

I'll let you know after I hear the 3-way with Bill, Bull, and Clyde. I think that may be a little better... Although Clyde won't do away games, so it's not a permanent solution.

    Drexler is the worst.

    Calvin is the best.

But that deal from a few years back (court thing) will keep Calvin from the booth. And that's a shame.

Get rid of Clyde. If you aren't willing to give Bull the keys full-time, then Alan Ashby him, and go younger.

    Rockets' Offseason Plan for Commentators

    1. Convince Les that Bill Worrel will only come back if the Rockets bring in some talent to surround him

    2. Sign Calvin Murphy

    3. Trade Drexler and Bullard for Battier (He's got "Superstar" potential as a comentator)

    4. Let Battier develop under Bill and Calvin

    5. Draft and stash some promising overseas talent like this guy

Murph, he made the post-barkley, pre-yao era watchable. Until the trial.

hilarious. We definitely need that English guy. Was that "in the game" as in the video game or did someone dub their voice over it.

Calvin has served his unofficial suspension with the Rockets for his legal matter -- it's time to bring him back.

Calvin was better and he and Bill had much better chemistry than Clyde or Bull has with Bill. Of course Calvin is a mad man but entertaining as hell. I used to love it when he would yell at Fancis to stop and pop or to stop picking your dribble up in the corner.

I liked Calvin, but I wouldn't mind some new blood. Steve Francis, Vernon Maxwell, or Otis Thorpe might be interesting.

Yeah, hiring Steve Francis seems like a very smart business decision.

Murp, or Gene Peterson!!! We need enthusiasm, not flatline commentating.
