Drew Gooden was just traded to the clippers at this rate he will break our good old friends Jimmy Jackson and Chuck Brown's coveted "good enough to be in the league, but not good enough to stay on my team" record but not to be outdone Brian Skinner too is vying for this coveted title as he has been on 7 different teams too Jimmy Jackson and Chucky were on 12 different teams (13 for JJ if you want to count the Hornets whom he never reported too) so far Gooden in his 8 year career: Memphis Orlando Cleveland Chicago Sacramento Dallas San Antonio Washington (never played) Clippers (probably wont play will be bought out) Skinner: Clippers (twice) Cavs Kings Portland Philly (twice) Bucks (twce) phoenix Washington So while Gooden will have technically been part of 9 teams he has only played for 7 of them possibly 8 if he accepts a buyout and goes somewhere else besides one of his former teams Skinner while on less teams may have been actually traded more times since he was on the bucks and sixers twice (he was drafted by LA and signed as FA not sure if he was traded to and from the bucks and sixers) Both have a good shot at breaking the record who is your money on?
I read Gooden will likely get bought out so he can sign elsewhere. Get ready to add to that magic number!
Maybe it had something to do with that stupid patch/ponytail crap he was sporting! God I hated that thing! And also this: Who would want that on their team?
I gave Howard and his 9 teams deep thought but he is in the twilight of his career and probably will not beat the record. Gooden and Skinner (esp gooden) have a good 5-6 years left in the league
cant forget this guy though he too is on the tail end of his career Nets Cavs Magic Cavs Clippers Golden State Denver Bucks Bobcats Wizards
