So, the other night I had this really bizarre dream.

First off, let me say that I am a huge Clutch The Bear fan... I went to a couple of Rockets games with a buddy of mine and he commented once, "you like that bear so much, everytime you see him, it's as if it's the first time you are seeing him" -- and it's true, I really dig our mascot, I think he's funny and his hijinx are just so silly. Anyway, on with this dream....

I dreamt that Clutch The Bear showed up at my place for my birthday, but it wasn't my place and it really wasn't my birthday because it isn't until the summer, it was a dream after all.... anyway, when Clutch showed up, it wasn't Clutch, it was a large, African-American woman and she wouldn't wear the mask/head! She had the bottom part of the suit on, but not the head... she didn't even bring it in my place. She said, "I'm tired, it's hot in there and I ain't wearing it" I remember her giving me some Rockets stuff (I don't recall what it was), asked me for some water and then left. Needless to say, I was a bit sad when I woke up.

    :(

Maybe the dream stemmed from a theory I have that when Clutch makes appearences (did you know you can 'rent' Clutch for special events?) outside of Rockets games, it's not really him, it's just a person who wears the suit for events... I cannot validate that theory and I don't really know how many events he attends, but I'm sure they wouldn't overbook him and I would hope it's the real Clutch when he does make appearances.

Anyway, call me crazy, I just thought I'd share... have you had any bizarre dreams lately?

Can't say I have had anydreams like that. I had one a few nights ago that Lance Berkman was back with the Stros and got a HR on his first at bat.

I think we've all got that dream circling in our heads somewhere.

Speaking of strange dreams though, I've got a question: Does your work come home with you so much that it carries into your dreams? The past few weeks I've had at least one person from work pop into my dreams. It's not necessarily the same person/people over and over and over, but it keeps happening on a regular basis now! I definitely need that summer vacation.

Happens to me quite frequently, I always have bizarre dreams. I had one just the other night where I was pimpin the most, but I didn't want to get with Lindsay Lohan because she was too much drama. She kept yelling at me and it was stupid, I wish we could have done something else.

When is the new Herbie movie coming out anyway.

Did I just turn this topic into Lindsay?

    Damn, oh well.

Lindsay is so hot, I mean she looks even better in these disney flicks where she has to be fully clothed and those tight sweaters reveal every pristine inch of her curves. Talking in that cute little "oh don't mind me i'm just an innocent girl" voice. Oh yeah that innocent **** realllllly gets me going.

    Oh.

well I'm going to bed now I've made a mess of this thread among other things.

hmmm...well rockHEAD, apparently the though of a black woman portraying your favorite mascot frightens you, revealing your subconscious, deep rooted racism...

Either that, or you need to switch from Aunt Jemima syrup to Log Cabin. :D

I dreamt of a terroist attack a few days ago. They started a giant earth quake. And it was headed from Mexico toward my hotel in Dallas. The ground was ripping apart and I could see it from the elevator lobby. But it stopped because of a giant wall that had been constructed by the Republicans. I was like phew.

I always dream about school stuff. When I was in college and had a tough homework set, I would make up problems in my dreams (and sometimes solve them... even including complicated things like vector calculus). My dream self was probably better at homework than my real self.

Usually I dream that I overslept class and am in big trouble (because I'm the teacher), or that I'm back taking classes again and it's most of the way through the semester and I have done practically none of the work and I'm probably going to fail. I always wonder how I got myself in these awful situations.
