Does anyone know where I can find a Dreamcast for under $50. I would of course be more willing to pay more if a game or two were included.

www.sears.com was clearing them out for $49.99 a couple of days ago, but most places are out of stock. Go there and check.

Most stores are/were clearing them out at this price, but like maybe you're finding out now, the trick is finding one. :)

ill sell you mine, with 2 controllers and a mem chip and 4 games for like 75 bucks. The games are NFL2k1, NBA2k1, Virtual Tennis (awesome game), and Soul Calibur (arguably the best game for DC).

Lemme know if your interested: BigA853@yahoo.com

FYI, NFL 2k2 can be had for $19.99 at JC Penney's online. Maybe elsewhere, too.

One of the guys at work told me that Dreamcast had been discontinued as Sega is now focused on software. I thought he was pulling my leg.

    Is that true?

The standard cost for a Dreamcast is now 49 bucks. You should be able to find a new one for that at Gamestop. That's where I bought mine . . . WELL worth it.

BlastOff -- that is true. They will not be manufacturing any more Dreamcasts, or any future consoles. Rather, Sega has decided to focus on titles for other platforms.

I was looking for a DC for my cousin, because their's went out all of sudden for some reason. I checked Gamestop and they said that they still get some once in awhile but they were selling it for $60!!! I was like WTF? Isnt the MSRP like $50? Them bastards, just wanting to get some money.

Thanks, Vengeance. Sega makes great PC titles, some of which I've purchased for my boys.

Hopefully that means Sonic the Hedgehog will live on....
