Toronto will most likely make the playoffs this year. If the same matchup as last year occured between them and the 76ers, which center would dominate? Ok, if both were healthy and played each other next week, my vote would be for Hakeem. However, how effective is Hakeem after 82 games? Dikembe has shown he has enough in the tank to go the distance and then some. Hakeem hasn't shown this for the past 3 years. Hakeem = more skill Dikembe = in better shape (not much better though) I think the edge goes to Dikembe in a 7 game series that deep into the playoffs. That said, with the 76er's trade today, I would put my money on Toronto to take that series. A final note is Hakeem will be banging with some decent centers to get that deep into the playoffs; Ewing, Johnson, Mourning. Finals -> Magic vs. Lakers
Dream will win that contest because Mutombo cannot play on the offensive end. Mutombo will have more rebounds and blocks but the Raptors will win the series.
