If the Rockets make the playoffs, and you are Rudy and CD, do you give Dream a spot on the playoff roster?

They (and I) might, out of sentiment, but more likely the answer is no. Realistically, Dream couldn't be back any sooner than the Western Conference Finals. Each and every body is too valuable, especially if they have to play physical in the first round.

edc: are you joking? of course you do... can you name 12 players more worthy of the spot? Seriously, our rotation is shallow enough to begin with...

Who would be your 12th man?

A healthy Sean Colson or an 80% Dream?

Colson will never see any action in the playoffs unless it is an emergency, quite possible.

Likewise, Dream will never see any action unless again it is an emergency. What if the Rockets make it to the Conference Finals or the NBA Finals? I'd take an 80-90% Dream who can still intimidate and change shots, block, and rebound over a healthy Colson.

The Miami Heat put Zo on their playoff roster although it is very unlikely he will play unless the Heat go deep into the playoffs.
