The Dream is truely a freak of nature. Even more freakish than Shaq. Watching the highlights makes me think Yao can never do the stuff the Dream did. He doesn't have the quickness and jumping ability. But he does have size and shooting touch. I hope Yao is smart and develop a style of his own that are equally effective in a basketball game. Thanks for the Dream highlights.
man, i'm still in flashback mode. now i understand why people here put dream above shaq on the list of all time great centers. dream was amazing!
That's a tradeoff for size. If Yao had Dream's speed and mobility, he would be the G.O.A.T. On the other hand, if Yao had Dream's vertical, he would be half Man half season like Vince Carter.
There was a Dream video that i heard was tight but i couldnt find. I havent seen it i just heard it was tight. I think it has an R Kelly slow jam in the background. If someone can post that video it would be appreciated. Thanks.

Wow! Even though I saw most of the clips before, and I saw this one before, I can't help wowing when I watch it again. The shake, fake, passing, blocking, vision, stealing, shooting touch, and dunking, you name it, he's got it all, and all comparing to those great big men in that era, in that clip. How could one do that with such a grace and ease. I do miss it. Now, I am even more upset recalling that Amare the next Dream thread. there won't be another Dream, but somehow I still wish Yao Ming could greatly impact the game, not dominating, but do all the things he's good atand keep improving, bring us a title with T-Mac.

Just watching this video gives me CHILLS... How much I missed the Dream. Someone needs to send this VIDEO to YAO so Yao can SEE how a TRUE Center should attack the rim with DOMINATION! You SLAM the ball in the hole not just shoot it off the back board when you are UNDER the darn basket.
But some of this was great.. I loved the part where he just took the ball away from Walton and ran it across court and dunked it, as well when Johnson from Phoenix was going to dunk the ball and thought no one was behind him but Hakeem came out of no where and blocked his shot, as well when Hakeem was gonna DUNK (and did DUNK) a ball - and Charles Barkley just pushed him. ROFL!
Those Hakeem highlights were badd@$$!!! Thanks. Its awesome to be able to see vintage highlights of him especially since we may never be able to see another player quite like him.
