For some reason, someone thought it would be a great idea if Drayton McLane spoke at our high school graduation. He talked for 40 minutes, and 15 of those was when he was talking about some story from the bible. Last year, John Culberson (spelling?) was supposed to speak at graduation at my school, but he never showed up. Everyone received a card saying how much he wishes he could be there. Did anyone have an intresting speaker at their graduation?
arrrrgh, arrrrgh, No Pictures no proof. I am a celebrity picture w****. Show me, show me, show me. Arrrgh, no proof of that happening. Arrgh. Show me. My High school graduation. just regular dumbasses.
McLane was at my graduation from Baylor in Dec. 1996 -- but that's because i graduated with his son...me and a friend told him back then that if his dad moved the team from houston, we'd kick his butt...he smiled and laughed...we were able to keep a straight face and say, "no...we're deathly serious, dude. if he moves the team, your ass is ours!" he gave an uncomfortable grin...and then we burst out laughing. his son was a real nice guy...i see him sitting in the owner's box all the time.. Warren Moon spoke at our football banquet my senior year of high school...i don't remember anyone significant speaking at our graduation...our valedictorian was a great speaker and a really nice guy...was extremely bright and a very talented actor and dancer...last i heard he's on broadway and doing very well...
Yes, or I did go to Memorial High School till last week I was expecting he would use a bunch of crappy baseball metaphors, but he didn't. He used Jesus metaphors. Kam-I had a camera or camcorder (it's smaller than my camera) with me nearly every day of school this semester, I was thinking of taking one to my graduation but didn't. I'm sorry.
Wow. And at a public school no less. I thought those heathen liberals got Jesus out of the schools???
At my sister's high school grad. they had the Broncos Offensive Coordinator. Mike somethin'. He is related to some kids that went there.
