The Rockets need to draft Caron Butler from out of Uconn. The guy is a ball player. Did you watch him in the tournament he was the only player that Maryland could not handle. He is 6-7 and a strong 235 lbs. Unlike those anorexic forwards such as Michael Dunleavy and Jared Jefferies. He can take it inside and outside and he also averaged over 26.5 pts 7.2 rebs and 4 ast in the NCAA Tournament. Trust me this is the guy for us and there is a bonus he can play defense too.

Wrong Forum. Wrong Player. Get Chris Wilcox!!!

Actually, I'd be happy with either player, but I'd rather the Rockets tried to acquire a small forward rather than draft one.

and BOOYA!!! Senior Member! Thank you very much.

Houston should take the best available Talent this high in the draft

Buttler will be a fine player and would fit Houstons needs better. Wilcox is destined for the All Star Games

I think he is 25-30 lbs of muscle removed from being Antonio Mcdyess. His upside is great enough to take him reguardless of a glut at the position. That's why the NBA lets teams make trades.

I would like to see Mo Taylor come back strong next year and trade him to Toronto/76'ers or some other team looking for some offense, probably a 3 team trade of some sort b/c there isn't much on either team I would want in return besides Iverson and Carter. MoPete?

I am hoping that Terrance Morris can improve, which is something he hasn't done since his sophomore year at Maryland. Maybe we can pick up a Ricky Davis/Lee Nailon as a stop gap measure, either would be an improvement over Walt and Torres.
This draft is weak at the SF position, so actually I wouldn't mind getting Toronto's pick next year, at least we'd have a pick.

Ipbman,If we pick up Wilcox,we would have to get a better SF than Butler if we end up trading him. Which players do you think we could get at the SF spot who could be better than Nailon or Ricky Davis by trading our pick?
