    Bush Intercontinental crew finds fetus in jet toilet

    Police are investigating a dead fetus found in the bathroom of a Continental Airlines plane that landed at George Bush Intercontinental Airport on Sunday evening, authorities said.

    A cleaning crew found the fetus in the bathroom around 6 p.m. after passengers had departed from the plane that flew into Houston from LaGuardia Airport, authorities said.

    The Harris County Medical Examiner's Office will do an autopsy before police can determine whether the fetus was viable.

    The airport is referring questions to the Houston Police Department. No further information was immediately available.

    Can you imagine...a lady sitting next to you gets up, goes to the bathroom, and returns a few minutes later. Little do you know that she just got rid of her fetus. Wow.

    Ok, I'm not a doctor or a chick, but...

    Couldn't the fetus be like one month old and the lady had a miscarriage or something? What would/could/should she do? Call a flight attendant for a zip lock bag? Would that really be the downfall of humanity?

    We need more details.

    C'mon, folks: you can barely get the airlines to give you a pillow and a package of peanuts nowadays. Do you think they would have helped her fish her fetus out of the toilet? I mean, maybe if you were flying in first class, but a coach passenger? Get serious. ;)

    I've heard of women having miscarriages and not even knowing they were pregnant. Not that uncommon.

    That's pretty sick. I think if it was so small that she didn't notice it coming out, then people wouldn't end up finding it.
