Steve-pull up jumper in your face, the drive with maybe the chance to go to the line or him driving and kicking.

Yao-Post up on the low block (chance of turnover), let him pass it to a cutter, shanghai shake, or fadeaway.

Cat-iso cat for a drive or create a J, (chance of ill advised shot)

Moochie-call it a night and let him dribble it out, hahah lol. He's hit big shots, but don't know how he would fare having the ball in his hands creating a shot for him or anyone else during that time

    E. Griffin-his turnaround on the low block or his 3

Taylor-His hook, or let him create his shot at 20. He could also take it to the hole.

Cato-Alley off, but he still misses them from time to time if not passed correctly.

Rice or pike-Spot up J (maybe a inside out with Yao or drive and kick from steve.

If you remember the game we lost to NY in NY. We dropped it down low to Yao and he was stripped. It seems pretty often that that happens, but it's still a great idea to drop it down when u need that point.

Hopefully, he's learned how to correct this problem. I know he's smart and got great court sense, so I'm not worried.

Steve. He hit a few clutch shots last year that I can remember and he is the most dominant offensive player we have right now.

Yao. He just need to learn to keep the ball high. Besides, he is a good FT shooter, so opponent won't dare to foul him.

Yao, because he shoots the highest fg% and he can actually PASS.

If you remember at the end of last season there were many games in which Mo T was the only one who could score in the 4th quarter and he would do it consistently. I would probably want Steve, and then Yao to take the shot but I had to vote for Taylor cause I knew he wouldn't get the respect he deserves. If he can bring that type of game next season then he should be a top option.

    at this point, steve.

yao has yet to develop an "automatic" go to move, choosing instead to use a variety of moves to set up his opponent. that is fine during the course of a game, however, clutch moments are best left for players with either an unstoppable move. while steve may not have a patented move, his quickness and ability to stop and pop are better weapons than yao's...at this point.

for the rockets to ascend to the upper stratisphere of the nba, however, i think we'll need yao to establish himself as "the man" in the clutch.

I'd let Franchise take it. He proved last year (and in years passed) that he'll come through for you when you need him. If there's one thing Steve can undeniably do, it's S-C-O-R-E.

    Steve, of course.

Yao proved as one of the premier clutch players?

The way I anticipate a JVG offense to function, I say Yao. The ball is going into the post and JVG will not ISO Yao with no weakside player movement.

Here's the thing, Steve shoots about 10 percent less in FG %.

I know that means nothing, but it's a consideration when u got a guy 7'6 who knows what to do with the ball.

Give it to a guy who shoots a high fg%, shoots free throws well, and doesn't get many shots blocked.

Give it to the big guy.

If i'm down by one with 6 seconds of life...

Who cares, I'm not going to be able to enjoy my victory anyway.

I'd like Yao to set a pick for steve. Let steve come around him and pull up for a jumper. That play worked quite a few times last year for the Rockets.

if your down by three and got few seconds left, your not going to have yao shoot the three. Steve has proven many times that he can hit the clutch three.... its almost countless...

    Yeah....Steve.

But it would be nice to have a play set up where either Yao or Steve could have a chance to score in 6 seconds........a cooperative play.....

    But Steve is more clutch.

Mobley or Yao? Who do you give the ball to? YAO! Mobley is horrible..........but he did make that like 3/4 court shot in Chicago....

I would go with the highest percentage, and it damn sure is not Francis (let's not refer to him by his nickname, he has no right to carry the title of "Franchise).

Add to that both of them have a hard time getting off a shot in 24 seconds, no way in hell they can get it done in 6.

The answer must of course be the player who is hot at that time and can make the 'CLUTCH' shot! It could be the one with the highest FG %.
