Dont know if the $ works out but how about Cat and for Christie?

Christie is a veteran w/ playoff experience, great defense, he can step up if needed, and he isnt selfish. I think he would be a great addition to the rox.

Nah I dont think Christie would leave Sacramento. Most of the Kings love playing here. Hedo might be available though. I know he wants more playing time/starter and there's no way he's going to get that in Sacramento because we have Wallace and Jim Jackson on the bench. I really like Hedo and think that he can make a major impact on any team. He rebounds and plays defense well. Good slasher plus a pretty nice looking jump shot. More Athletic then peja and plays better defense.

Game 7 christie did miss that 3 pointer but look at Peja. He missed a 3 pointer even worst, airball. Still lots of teams still want him.

I've been on Christie's bandwagon for some time. The Kings will need more toughness at the 5 if the Lakes punk them again, and need to find playing time for Hedo and/or Wallace, so --

yes, I am a proponent of the pregnant possibilities of Christie to the Rox.

Christie looks like one of the biggest freak on the court. I can't stand him raises his arm whenever he does anything. That just looks dumb.

IMO, Christie is an excellent role player, especially in defense. But, can Rox give up Cat's offense? I dont think so.

Can anyone tell me why Kings would trade Christie for Mobley? Sure Kings desperately need Mobley's 1-on-1 offense and inconsistent defense eh?

How can anyone not love to have Christie on this team? He is just the type of role player that could easily get us into the playoffs.

That's the first thing I thought of, too.

This subject has come up before and I can't realistically see the Kings trading any of their first 8 for Cuttino. Maybe Pollard, but he may be the 9th in their rotation (not that the Rox would do it).

The Rox and Kings are at opposite ends of the spectrum regarding team orientation and passing desire/ability. Other than Ming, I doubt the Kings covet very many Rockets players.

That said, if there's a team in the EC that strongly wants Cuttino and has a player the Kings want...worth considering. In the unlikely event you could get Hedo thrown in, YES!

    BINGO! We have a winner!

Now why on earth would the Kings trade their designated defender for Cat when the Jackson boys are both as good or better versions of Cat?

Toronto offered us Doug Christie, Kevin Willis, #4 in '99 ( Bender later traded to Indiana, and a future #1 for Hakeem once upon a time.

Good point. Cat has done one thing here in Htown, he has given Chance something to sing about when he writes his songs!

I'd love to see Cuttino on New Jersey, Dallas or Sacramento, just to know how/if he'd fit in. He's usually someone who fits in anywhere, so I'd love to see that.

Mobley is the last player in the league the kings would want, with their free-flowing offense.

It thrives on all 5 guys passing the ball well. And with Mobley...

Mobley would be a good finisher. :)

But I want to keep him. Tell me the latest thing he did wrong....he's been playing great the last couple of games.

    Inconsistent defense? How so?
