Doris Burke is HOT!!

LOL awesome pic. God my roommate and I just made fun of her and other announcer during game, they are HORRIBLE. Please JVG next game, someone competent.

 

She actually managed to annoy me more than Clyde. That's hard to do.

 

I dunno. She wasn't any worse than most announcers out there.

I think a lot of the people who complain about these female announcers are really just closet sexists, frankly...Upset that there's some woman invading their testosterone time.

Going to get me flamed, I'm sure.

You know what would really ruin my day?

Dorris Burke commentating, Violet Palmer reffing, and Dirk Nowitzki playing all in the same game against the Rockets. Three of the worst that females have to offer.

 

I don't know, we Lisa Malosky is awesome (or used to be), and even the ABC sideline reporters during BIG XII coverage are good, but women like Cheryl Miller and Doris Burke are really hard to listen to. Pam Oliver is okay, too. Though I'll be honest, no one frustrates me more than Mark Jackson and his tired cliches.

I think she's pretty good.

There are a lot of people that just hate her as a color analyst, and I don't get it. I think she's solid.

 

She said Scola was an excellent pick and roll defender.

I agree with you. I really found nothing wrong with Doris' commentating. I do think female commenators get a bad rap. She was coherent and made good comments. Considering some of the horrible homer announcers and former players that trip over their tongues it's amazing people have a problem with Doris' commentating.

 

how is she any worse than the crap we been hearing all day?

Have you guys forgotten? The best reporter is Melanie Collins.

 

i started a thread in the NBA forum about how I think she's a great commentator. I watched yesterday's game on ESPN, never bothered to switch to FSN. Clyde could learn a thing or 20 from her.
