Rockets Re-Thinking Trade. I got this from realgm not sure how true but fwiw Andy Katz of ESPN.com is reporting that the Rockets deal cannot be officially announced until July 12th, due to Battier's BYC status. As you probably have heard. However, the Rockets are re-thinking the deal. The Rockets are apparently "doing last-minute homework" on ***. The Rockets still have the ability to knock off the deal, but in the public..the Rockets nor Grizzlies can speak to in-depth of ***. The Grizzlies are not allowed to mention his name, until the Rockets have made thier final decision.
wow.. i wonder how much of this is true.. maybe the rockets said this to get us off their backs for the time being
Im going to pretend I didn't hear this. That way when I find out it isn't true I won't have a nervous breakdown.
well if its true we should kick the harrassment into overdrive i propose we organize a date in the next couple of days to have a vocal protest, sign petitions, get season ticket holders to call etc.
i saw thta on realgm, let me tell u how stupid that kid is, on the clutchfans main site it has topics on bottom, he saw that it says, katz reports rockets doing lastminute hw on gay, and cuz of that he concluded that that was new news, and deduced all the rest, he said it himself
Its not that they need to cancel the trade, they just need to get something more, atleast a future draft pick.
We need to organize and let the Rockets organization how the fans feel about the trade. If the fans don't let them know this trade might go through. Please somebody organize a petition or something.
What if they Rockets keep Rudy Gay and he turns out to be a bust? Then what? People need to calm down and see what happens!!!!!!
