Do the Rockets know what defense is? I think they broke the record for giving the opponents too many open shots. I got sick of it, the Rockets do not deserve to make the playoffs. I feel very sorry for saying that, belief me. And I do hope they make the playoff, but then again they don't deserve it. To much one on one, don't they know about ball movement. What happen to the so call "motion offense" yeah, ok what happen to that? Don't get me wrong, the Rockets can score, but they need deffense. Offence wins games, but defense can get you all so many wins. I love the Rockets, but they really got me mad today, as you see. Anybody want to trash me go ahead, I'll trash you back. Go Rockets, I still love you, but please play some defense!

Yeah. I only watched the first quarter, and God. They left Jason Kidd WIDE OPEN all day. They didn't even contest his shots. Or they always left someone open. Maybe they didn't want him to pass. But anyways, he scored 30 points. Horrible defense. The Nets are a perimeter team. They have barely any inside game.....and we don't even defend the perimeter. Sad...disappointing. Yes. Rockets don't deserve playoffs. But they deserve better coaching though.

jesus christ, does anyone else get annoyed at this? i guess this loss kicks us out of the playoffs, huh? a loss to the best team at home in the league? so i guess we have no chance at the playoffs now. nope, no chance.

why dont you go convert to a kings fan or something.

I've resisted saying this all season, but I'm damn near my breaking point. One more loss like this and I'll jump on the bandwagon of Rockets fans who'd rather see this team miss the playoffs than make it. I'd much prefer to see them miss out for the fourth straight year and do a massive overhaul of both players and coaches during the offseason than get the 8th seed by sucking less than Phoenix down the stretch, get their asses swept by Dallas or San Antonio, and actually be under the delusion that they're on the right track with this group or worthless streetballers.

At the very least, there better be a major change in assistant coaches next season. Rudy may think "yes" men guarantee him job security, but the truth is their incompetence in teaching these players is gonna land him smack dab in the unemployment line.

Yeah ok, I'm going to be a kings fan. I hate all teams except the Rockets. Win or Lose. I love the Rockets, but giss! They don't take advantage for anything. Suns play Denver tomorrow, so who do you think is going to win? What, what was that? what was your answer? Now you see why i'm so mad. I love the Rockets, but they got me mad right now. Hope they do make the playoffs, because i'll be the first one to buy tickets.

Go put on a skirt and dance with the rest of the cheerleaders.

This loss just shows how inept our team is. Yao Ming is the only person that came to play tonight, other than Taylor who only got 14 minutes. Steve played like crap in the second half. The Rockets deserve every word of criticism after this pathetic showing. They had a perfect chance to put some pressure on Phoenix, but blew it. This would have been a 35 point loss if they hadn't made that little second quarter run.

If they beat out Phoenix for the 8th spot, they will have earned it.

id rather have mobley and stevey's egos in the playoffs than having to deal with seeing the smile on stephon mebury's mug alone.

Fans have a right to vent after an ugly pre-play-off presentation like this one. On the other hand, I do think the negativity after every loss IS getting out of hand. I suggest that Clutch do something. One thought I have at this moment is to put up a "Vent" thread and a "Cheer" thread after each game, for people to put up whatever negativity or positivity they believe appropriate.

I myself see things this way--playing ball is always a much harder business than watching ball. If we fans don't want our players to give up, then we fans shouldn't give up while our players are still fighting.

Now thats just dumb, if you play hard enough to make it, then you obviously deserve to be there. Who else would deserve to be there, someone who played hard enough to get 9th or 10th?

You know what's ironic? There are those that say to beat the Nets you need to make Kidd become offensive-minded; leave him open for jumpers. I would agree with this b/c Kidd realy is a horrible shooter. But the guy is capable of these unbelievable offensive games when the shoots are falling. I didn't see the game (thanks stupid NBA TV), but if Kidd was so wide-open, that's dumb. The Rox should @ least know that he's on fire and despite scouting reports, get a hand in his face!

Yes the defense in general with the Rox is just horrible.

The fact that they refuse to show up in big games on the road, is reason enough to b**** and moan, thank you.

I said weeks ago the Rockets don't deserve to make the playoffs, and wouldn't make it. IF you think Larry Smith can coach this team into the playoffs, you're in for a big letdown.
