Legend. His 2 movies that probably stand out most from when I was a kid are the Dirty Dozen and Invasion of the Body Snatchers
The man was a true ICON...............there some movies I absolutely hate him in when he played the bad guy, thats when you know they did there job. RIP Sir
I've been a fan of Donald Sutherland's since the late '60's and it began to seem like he would live, and act, forever. If only that were possible. Rest in peace.
No matter how many times I've seen 'Ordinary People'...I can always tune in for some more of that film just to watch him especially at the end. So powerful. That's my ultimate compliment to him.
A&E did a movie called The Big Heist about the The Luthansa Heist which is featured in Goodfellas in which Sutherland plays Jimmy The Gent with an Irish accent. For me it really soured me on Deniro playing Jimmy in Goodfellas, it really puts a whole new perspective on the man. I love Deniro like most people and Goodfellas Edit: Growing up in the eighties with Lost Boys and Stand By Me being iconic preteen/teenage movies Donald Sutherland will always be first and foremost in my my mind Kiefer 's father
"Listen! I'm not joking! This is my JOB!" Underrated line in a movie overflowing with memorable quotes. RIP Professor Jennings
