Donald Sterling Promises to Pay

    Clippers: First the world champion Bulls turned into the Clippers. Now, suddenly, the Clippers are looking like the old world champion Bulls. Donald Sterling knows he's going to have to pay. "I will tell you right now, I'm not going to screw this up," owner Donald Sterling said."I think it is going to be a privilege to pay Odom whatever the max is, and I think Brand may be another player just like that and I will pay him the max. I think Darius Miles is going to be a max player, Corey Maggette might even be another one." No team has four "max" players on their roster at the moment.

    Looks like Sterling is finally realizing that he has one of the best young teams in the league and he is going to have to shell out the $$$ to keep them. I am glad to see the image of the Clippers changing, but can Sterling's word be trusted?

    The max for guys finishing up their rookie contracts I think is around 9-10 mil

    and those two teams have exactl HOW MANY RINGS IN THE LAST 2 DECADES????

    not about playing ability. I'm talking
    about trying to BUY a championship not to mention
    they should get eaten up by the luxury tax
