Don won NBA Coach of the Year honors by leading the 1990-91 Rockets to a 52-30 mark, an 11-win improvement over the prior season.

Brown earned Coach of the Year honors after the 2008-2009 season, was named Coach of the Month three times during the season (December, February and March) and along with his coaching staff earned the opportunity to coach the Eastern Conference All-Star Team at the 2009 All-Star Game in Phoenix, Arizona.

For those who didn't know why Don Chaney left, I believe the players lost faith in him. Xs and Os, Don wasn't a bad coach.

He orchestrated a strong pick-n-roll game for the Rockets that led them to such a good record.

The dude who succeeded Don, he did pretty well in the player motivational aspect of the game, which is important when you have a superstar.

You know what's a bigger coincidence?

Rudy T's name is currently floating around Cavs forums. Many fans would like to get him. Is that even possible?

is he healthy enough? Rudy didn't get a fair shot in LA because his health wouldn't let him. But the last article I read about Rudy, he seems happy to be scout for the Lakers.

Thanks Les Alexander, now the Lakers have Rudy T and Phil Jackson on the same team. thanks.
