I'm glad the administration is doing everything possible to keep me and fellow Americans safe. I'm glad we have a President who understands the world in ways I cannot. I'll happily sacrifice another American city or two so we don't lose by leaving in Iraq and so the terrorists won't follow us home.

And Bush wants to take control of the Guard away from the governors. Heck, then they can be sripped bare of equipment, and the governors told to suck eggs. If the American people were truly aware of what's going on, instead of busy watching American Idol and NFL football, they'd freak.

But if the governors respond in a ill-mannered way, it will be Bush's fault no matter what I'm sure...You can't have it both ways.

If a serious domestic emergency is looked at as a fed thing, why not give them the who, what, when, where, and How ability?

What ever happened to states rights? When are you going to wake up to what this fool, Bush, is taking away from you, ROX? When you're told that your firearms could be used by terrorists, so they better be taken away??

Geez. Must be nice to be blind.

States rights is a great thing in many instances, but you avoided my interrogatory...Now who is blind on that?

What the hell kind of "whatever," was that?

"But if the governors respond in a ill-mannered way, it will be Bush's fault no matter what I'm sure... "

What the **** does that mean? Ill-mannered governors? What is that? If you aren't a polite governor, we'll take your states rights away, and that's just tough if you care about states rights? You're ill-mannered? Christ, ROX, that makes no sense whatsoever.

So you think that states rights and the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights should be interpreted by manners??

"It's Bush's fault no matter what I'm sure."

God damned right it's Bush's fault. That's the fool who's trying to screw you and your state, and your states rights up the rear.

What does this crap come from? Why is that otherwise intelligent people stick their heads up where the sun don't shine when it comes to this guy? Because he's President? He's no better than any other American. Hell, considering what a piss-poor job he's done, he's worse than most.

But they do have the who, what, when, where, and how ability. This administration is just woefully incompetent, screwed up the response to Katrina because of their top-down WH controls every little decision mentality, and screwed up a war that didn't need to be fought. And, they want the Guard control so they can shift them to Iraq and pretend like the Army troop levels are small. So, your options are a bleeding Guard unable to respond to more than one emergency or a bleeding Federal Guard in Iraq unable to do anything in the national interest. Not much of a choice. Not much of a President.
