Dolphins-Bears match up real well. I predict a 4-2 OT win, not sure which team though. If either team had a real QB they could do some serious damage. If either had landed Drew instead of Buffalo they would have real superbowl shots, I'd even go so far as put the Bears the favorites to represent the NFC had they done so.

Would have been very nice to get Bledsoe. But I think the Bears still have a shot regardless.

All I can say is that you better hope that the Dolphins end up with a better regular season record than the Pats because they will not beat the Pats in New England in January.:p

Actually they might. The Dolphins are built exactly like a cold weather team. Great defense and power running with a few play actions mixed in. I think they would have better chance winning in Foxboro (as the Raiders should have won last year) than in Miami where NE's speed all over could make it a track meet.

Nice wins over powerhouse defenses like Detriot and Indy

Get a real win like New England, Oakland, Denver, and New Orleans did before you go thinkin' ya'll be super bowl bound. Carolina is 2-0 too.

Dolphins vs Houston in the SuperBowl huh? That's going to kind of hard considering BOTH TEAMS ARE IN THE SAME CONFERENCE!

Good point but Miami will certainly not have as much experience playing in Foxboro as the Patriots. Also, I don't think that the Patriots are known for their speed all over. Their defensive backs cover well and hit hard. Antwain Smith is certainly not fast. While Troy Brown and David Patten are smallish receivers, I think that they are known more for their tenacity than speed.

I'm pretty sure that in the playoffs, Miami would prefer to play at home but either way it should be a great game if it comes to that.

Miami does look good this year but I dont think think they could beat Oakland, Denver, or NE come playoff time.

Denver??? The season is still too early to call, just because they won 2 games doesn't mean they will be superbowl contenders. Oakland, Miami, and New England are the best in the AFC.

To me right now Denver looks just as good as anyone in the AFC. They have beaten 2 good teams and did it with a much improved defense. As a Raider fan I hate to admit it. I am rooting for them to slip up of course, but if I was picking AFC playoff teams I would have to include them in there as of last week. As for Super Bowl, no because they wont get past Oakland. :D

I guess well get this qustion answered in Dec when the Raiders visit Miami. On the flip side of your comment I would add, Mr Rice and Mr Brown I would like to introduce you to Mr Madison and Mr Surtain ;) All joking aside this will be a great game and even though the season is only 2 weeks old the Dolphins look good as do the Raiders. Our {being a fish fan} biggest turn around this year is better play calling by Norv Turner and the addition of Ricky Williams which tends to make the defense more honest as they cant stack the line as in years past as tee off on our QB. I feel the addition of Ricky will also help our defense as they tend to tire out at the end of the year since they are on the field so much. If our offense can stay on the field longer it will keep everyone else fresher. I have high hopes for the fish, I only wish we had given Marino the type of running back that the Dolphins gave Fiedler.

Brown/Rice vs. Madison/Surtain will be a great matchup. I have respected that secondary for a while now. I agree that Norv Turner will make a difference for Miami. He really does bring some diversity to the play calling. If Ricky stays happy and Fiedler can stay away from the ill-timed interceptions then they will be in the playoffs for sure. If I were a Dolphins fan I would just hate to put my team's hopes on Fiedler.
Hell, if Marino was given a good running game I think he would have multiple rings, kind of like when Elway got a running game.

I wish you good luck in every game except Oaktown.

    See you in Dec.

Ricky will problably stop himself with an injury like he did in his two seasons with the Saints.

That would be pretty neat though if we could get the Dolphins and Saints in the Super Bowl... that could certainly solve the Deuce vs. Ricky debates! :)

QB problems won't hold dolphins back. the last two champs have had average at best QB's (brady is much better this year). The key is if they avoid their typical November December swoon.
